Contractual document

General terms and conditions of sale

What you are owed, and what we are owed. Twenty articles, with no reference to an appendix that does not exist.

Version of 9 September 2026

These terms apply to every order placed on up2front.com. They are accepted at the moment of payment.

1. Identity of the provider

Maxime Pilloud, sole proprietorship trading as Up2Front, Rue du Vélodrome 3, 1205 Geneva, Switzerland. Not entered in the commercial register and not liable for VAT, annual turnover remaining below the CHF 100,000 threshold. Contact: contact@up2front.com.

2. Purpose and scope

These terms govern every order for website creation services placed with Up2Front on up2front.com. Placing an order implies unreserved acceptance of them.

3. Packages and prices

Prices are stated in Swiss francs. Up2Front is not liable for VAT: the prices displayed are therefore net prices, with no tax to add. The applicable prices are those displayed on the site on the day of the order.

  • Landing Pro — CHF 290, one page of five sections.
  • Site Complet — CHF 490, up to five pages.
  • Site Étendu — CHF 690, up to seven pages, three languages included.

3bis. Pricing zone

The prices displayed on the site are those applicable to Switzerland and Western Europe. For other countries, pricing adjusted to local purchasing power applies. The exact amount appears on the quote issued before any order; no adjusted price is applied retroactively to an order already paid for.

The zone is determined by the country of the billing address stated by the client when making the request, and not by their IP address, their nationality or the country of issue of their means of payment. The client is responsible for the accuracy of that address. An inaccurate billing address, given in order to obtain the pricing of a more favourable zone, entitles Up2Front to correct the price and to suspend the project until the difference is settled, in accordance with art. 6.

Outside the Switzerland and Western Europe zone, the full price is due on order and the instalment payment provided for in art. 4 is not offered.

4. Ordering and payment

Payment is made on ordering, at the client's choice, in a single payment or in three equal monthly instalments at no extra cost spread over three months. The order is firm as soon as the first payment is received and the contract is concluded upon receipt of that payment. Payments are processed by Stripe; Up2Front has no access to any bank card data.

Instalment payment is not available for orders whose billing address lies outside the Switzerland and Western Europe zone (art. 3bis).

Where payment is made in instalments, the rights in the delivered site transfer to the client only upon payment of the final instalment, in accordance with art. 9. Failure to pay an instalment renders the balance immediately due and entitles Up2Front to suspend publication of the site until the situation is regularised.

This payment facility falls outside the scope of the Federal Act on Consumer Credit: it is granted with no interest and no fees, it is repayable within three months, and it is aimed at a professional clientele.

5. Right of withdrawal and satisfaction guarantee

Swiss law provides no general right of withdrawal for sales concluded online. Up2Front nevertheless grants the client, contractually, a guarantee more favourable than the law: the satisfaction-or-refund guarantee described below.

For thirty days from the review link being sent, a client who is not satisfied with their site may request a full refund of the sums paid, by a simple message to contact@up2front.com, without having to give a reason.

The refund is made within ten working days, to the payment method used at the time of order. In the case of instalment payment (art. 4), the instalments already paid are refunded and those still outstanding are cancelled.

The refund terminates the contract: the client waives all use of the delivered site and the rights referred to in art. 9 are not transferred to them. As the domain name was purchased in the client's name, they may keep it; its actual acquisition cost alone is then deducted from the refund. Otherwise the domain is returned to Up2Front and the refund is total.

After the thirty-day period, the order is no longer refundable.

Art. 40a of the Swiss Code of Obligations remains reserved for contracts concluded through doorstep selling, as do the mandatory provisions applicable to clients resident in the European Union.

6. Client obligations — accuracy of content and figures

The client supplies complete and accurate content, warrants that they hold the rights to the text, images and logos they send, warrants that they have obtained the consent of any identifiable persons appearing in the photographs, and responds to Up2Front's requests within reasonable time.

The client warrants the accuracy of all the information they provide, in particular figures and verifiable claims: years in business, number of clients, projects or call-outs, response times, warranty periods, online rating and review counts, certifications, labels and professional affiliations. These statements are reproduced as supplied in the site copy. Up2Front does not verify them and has no means of verifying them.

The client acknowledges that an inaccurate, exaggerated or out-of-date statement published on their site is their sole responsibility, in particular with regard to art. 3 para. 1 let. b of the Federal Act against Unfair Competition. They undertake to notify Up2Front of any information that has become false and bear alone the consequences of an uncorrected publication.

The client has the review period provided for in art. 8 to check every figure appearing on their site before it goes live.

6bis. Images and photographs

Photographs presenting the client — their premises, their team, their products or their past work — are supplied by the client. Up2Front neither creates nor substitutes these images: a photograph purporting to show the client's business must correspond to reality, in particular with regard to art. 3 para. 1 let. b of the Federal Act against Unfair Competition.

Where the photographs supplied are of insufficient quality, Up2Front may retouch them: cropping, enlargement, correction of light and colour, cut-out. These operations do not change what the photograph depicts.

The site also contains atmosphere imagery — textures, backgrounds, patterns and decorative visuals — which depict neither the client, nor their premises, nor their past work. These images may be created using artificial intelligence tools. The client is free to use them with their site. Up2Front gives no guarantee of exclusivity on these visuals.

Photographs supplied by the client are never uploaded to a third-party image generation service.

If the client supplies no photographs, the site is built with atmosphere imagery only. The client acknowledges that the site will then contain no image of their premises, their team or their past work. That choice does not constitute a defect in the service and gives rise to no revision on that basis.

7. Lead times

The stated lead times — two days for Landing Pro, three days for Site Complet, five days for Site Étendu — run from complete receipt of the content, and not from payment. They are indicative and not contractual. No penalty for delay is owed.

8. Revisions and approval

  • Revisions are unlimited for thirty days from the review link being sent, whichever the package. The client requests as many rounds of revisions as they wish during this period, at no extra charge.
  • Revisions cover the project as ordered: copy, images, colours, arrangement of sections, formatting.
  • Requests that change the nature of the project — an additional page, an unplanned feature, a complete change of concept — are the subject of a separate quote.
  • Tacit approval: without feedback from the client within thirty days of the review link being sent, the site is deemed accepted and may be published.
  • After the thirty-day period, any revision is charged at CHF 90 per hour, subject to a prior quote being accepted.

Where the site copy has been written by Up2Front on the basis of the client's brief (art. 8bis), the revisions included in the price cover both formatting and wording. The client is required to proofread all the copy during the thirty-day period, in particular figures, proper names, contact details and service descriptions. The tacit approval provided for above then also covers the editorial content.

A complete rewrite requested after approval, in the absence of any error attributable to Up2Front, constitutes an additional service charged at CHF 90 per hour, subject to a prior quote being accepted.

8bis. Copywriting by Up2Front

Where the client chooses not to supply their own copy, Up2Front writes it from the answers to the brief form. The writing is supported by artificial intelligence tools, under human review. The copy delivered is based exclusively on the information supplied by the client: Up2Front invents no figure, no reference and no claim that does not appear in the brief.

An incomplete brief produces shorter, more general copy. That is not a defect in the service. The client is invited to complete their brief rather than request a rewrite.

Up2Front guarantees no search-engine result, no ranking position and no volume of traffic or enquiries. The copy is written to search-engine best practice, with no undertaking as to results.

The client acquires the rights to the copy delivered after payment in full, on the terms of art. 9.

The client proofreads and approves the copy within the period set out in art. 8. That approval constitutes acknowledgement that the copy reflects their activity and that the figures it contains are accurate within the meaning of art. 6.

9. Intellectual property

The client becomes the owner of the delivered site after payment in full. Up2Front retains the right to cite the project as a reference, unless the client objects in writing.

9bis. Logo design

Logo design is an optional service charged at CHF 150. The logo is drawn by Up2Front from the client's answers to the brief form. Revisions are included on the terms of art. 8.

The client acquires the rights to the delivered logo after payment in full. The files are supplied in the formats matching the uses declared in the brief.

The service includes no prior-art search, no availability check on the sign, and no trade mark filing. Up2Front does not guarantee that the logo is available for registration within the meaning of the Federal Act on the Protection of Trade Marks, nor that it infringes no earlier right. A client wishing to protect their sign should consult an intellectual property attorney.

10. Hosting, certificate, backups and domain name

Included in the price, for twelve months from going live: hosting of the site, the SSL certificate, backups, and the registration of the domain name, up to CHF 20 per year — beyond that, the difference is announced before the order. After that period, renewal is at the client's expense; the client may handle it directly or subscribe to the monthly care plan described in article 10bis. The domain name is registered in the client's name and remains their property at all times; it is transferred to them on simple request and free of charge.

10bis. Monthly care plan (optional)

The client may subscribe, at any time and without obligation, to either of the following plans:

  • Care — CHF 39 per month. Up to three content changes per month, carried out within two working days of a complete request being received. Unused requests are not carried over from one month to the next.
  • Unlimited Care — CHF 89 per month. Content changes in unlimited number, handled one request at a time: the next request is taken up as soon as the previous one has been delivered, within the same period of two working days. The client may not require several requests to be handled simultaneously.

Both plans include, from the thirteenth month and at no extra cost and no change of price, the renewal of hosting, the SSL certificate, backups and the domain name within the limits of article 10.

Entry into force. The package subscribed already includes thirty days of unlimited corrections (art. 8). A care plan taken out during that period therefore duplicates nothing: it only takes effect, and is only charged for the first time, at the end of those thirty days.

What a content change is. A content change is the replacement or correction of an existing element of the site: a text, a photograph, a price, an opening time, a contact detail, a link, a downloadable document, or the addition of a news item in a section already provided for that purpose. A change applies to an existing page and alters neither its structure nor its layout.

What is not one. Neither plan covers: the creation of additional pages, the addition of sections, total or partial graphic redesign, a change of visual identity, the addition of languages, the addition of features, the integration of third-party services, nor the creation of content — copywriting, photography, translation. A care plan does not allow the client to obtain, through successive requests, a site that the package subscribed did not include. Such work falls under article 8 and is invoiced at CHF 90 per hour, against a quotation accepted before execution.

Termination. The care plan may be terminated by the client at the end of each monthly period, without reason and without charge; switching from one plan to the other is done on the same terms. The site and the domain name remain the property of the client at all times. In the event of termination, hosting and the domain cease to be covered by Up2Front at the end of the period paid for.

11. Project on hold

If the client does not supply their content within three months, the project is suspended. The data is kept for twelve months. Payment remains due.

12. Warranty

Once the site is published and the access details handed over, the service is deemed performed. Corrections of errors attributable to us — technical errors and typos — remain covered at no charge, with no time limit. The warranty does not cover changes of mind, which fall under art. 8.

13. Liability

Up2Front is not liable for the unavailability of third-party services — host, registrar, payment provider — for content supplied by the client, or for the site's ranking in search engines.

14. Data protection

The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy.

15. Applicable law and jurisdiction

This contract is governed by Swiss law. Place of jurisdiction: Geneva, subject to mandatory places of jurisdiction.
